Yes. Every feature is available at no charge while Gymio is growing, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
How does gym attendance work?
Each gym gets its own QR code. Members scan it on arrival to check in, and scan again on the way out to record how long they trained. There is a five-minute minimum between the two, so a double scan cannot log a fake session.
Can members pay their fees in the app?
No. Gymio does not process payments and never handles card details. The gym records each payment it receives in cash, UPI or bank transfer, and the member's membership is extended automatically.
Does it work outside India?
Yes. Gymio supports phone numbers from 19 countries including the United Kingdom, the United States, the Philippines and South Africa, with the correct dialling code and number length for each.
What do I need to get started?
An Android phone. Install the app, choose “I own a gym” when you register, and you are set up. No computer, card reader or extra hardware.
Is my members' data safe?
Everything travels over an encrypted connection, and the app additionally pins the server's certificate. Each gym can only ever see its own members. See the privacy policy for what is collected.
